Simple to Install E-Plex locks easily install on wood or metal doors. New LectroBolt® mounting screw (patent pending) eliminates running wires to or through the door – no risk of damage from pinched wires that can result in costly callbacks. Lock quickly retrofits any standard 161 cylindrical door prep. No installation gaskets are required and non-handed design accommodates both left and right-hand doors.

Communication No cables are needed to upload / download user and audit information. Software communicates with lock through infrared data transfer function of a handheld PDA (personal digital assistant). Audit records and saves the last 3,000 - 30,000 lock events (varies by model) including key override to provide increased user accountability. Spreadsheet style reports allow you to sort, filter, analyze and store according to your information needs.
