The Solitaire® 950 Series is an ideal stand-alone system for facilities such as universities and large commercial facilities. It uses thepre-encoded information on the customer’s existing magnetic stripe ID cards and imports their user database. The Solitaire 950expands and complements your existing access control system at a fraction of the cost of hard-wired systems, but with many of the same features. Includes user groups, holidays, time zones, vacation blocks and a full audit trail. The user-friendly management software assists with programming and auditing of all the locks in a facility The Solitaire 950 easily replaces existing cylindrical or mortise door locks. The separate card reader and controller can control garage and elevator doors or electric strikes, and the exit device model permits controlled access from the outside throughexit doors with panic device hardware.

The Solitaire® 970 Series quickly replaces any traditional key operated door lock to provide access using magnetic stripe ID cards. To unlock the door from the exterior, users swipe their keycard through the lock. Upon entering the room, the lock relocks 6 seconds after opening, or as soon as the user engages the deadbolt. When the inside lever is rotated to exit the room, the lock goes into passage mode. This permits re-entry indefinitely without the use of a keycard – preventing lockouts. To relock the door, the user must swipe their keycard through the lock on the outside of the door.
